What is your secret to get our site from PR0 to PR5 within less than 6 months?Any secret?

Linking to it from a PR7 site or a couple of PR6 sites. But in itself it won't do much for you in relation to rankings.

Get links by submitting into directories , write good content so people link to you , write articles with your site link and put in article directories , put your link in signature forums and start posting in forums , post in blogs with your site in a non spammy way , get some relevant link partners

Submitting to directories, writing articles and purchasing of high PR text links will get you a nice PR.

why pr5 exactly? pr doesn't necessarily mean traffic from SEs.

Avoid link exchanges and "bought advertising" wherever and whenever possible.:thumbdown:

One of my blogs has a PR5 and only 34 backlinks...about 3 of those links are from PR6 pages, and a few from PR5. And that's a blog with only 14 posts, the latest one being in July. :tongue_smilie:

Compare that to John Chow's blog, which has hundreds of posts, 35000 backlinks, lots of visitors, etc...and is still a PR4.

PageRank is all about quality, not quantity. But don't worry about PR so much...there are lots of other factors that are important as well.

backlinks are definitely the secret....

Do a search on google for relative keywords to your site then see if you can get a link from that site. Either by doing a link exchange of seeing if they have a singable guestbook you can use.

Backlinks from higher PR sites....may be a few BL's from PR 6 or higher will result in PR5.

Link exchanges aren't very effective anymore, focus your efforts on article submissions and paid directories.

Improve on your content and hope that other sites would see the value and link to it. That's the time you really get some PR juice

PR doesn't matter I've seen PR7 sites been outranked by PR2 sites in the search engines.

bought advertising yes, but link exchanges can help but it only depends on which site you will exchange with. Make sure that it is related and it got enough Link juice
