Dear members

I have one question to ask. I just checked backlinks of one of my sites on yahoo site explorer and noted that

the first site being shown in the results is a site which has my link with a "nofollow" attribute.

Does this mean that yahoo doesnt care about rel="nofollow"? Can anybody else check and confirm this from their

own sites? And what about MSN?
Any suggestions?

I think only Google uses the rel="nofollow" tag. I have backlinks that are not counted in G because of the tag and they're counted in Yahoo and MSN.

I don't know about what they show in the backlinks, but Yahoo does use the nofollow attribute, see: ysearchblog. com/archives/000069 [dot] html (sorry, not allowed to post link yet)

and at this moment Yahoo! has indexed the page, where MSN and Google still don't show anything

nofollow and noindex are not the same thing, and nofollow will not keep links from being counted.
