Heya,

I've been looking for some link exchanges lately and doing some as well, and something crossed my mind. Is there a minimum PageRank I should be looking for to have a backlink from? Currently my site is a PR 5, but should I even bother with any PR's under, let's say, 3?

I would advice to focus on SERP rather than PR. It is the traffic to your site that counts ultimately

I go for relevant links from quality sites that are PR0 and above. Later when I check back after a PR update, I often get a pleasant surprise!

- get links from related web sites and with anchor text will increase you ranking search engines.

It's alright if you even get a link from a website which is having a PR less than your's but just keep in mind that it should be relevant as that will help your site a bit more and getting links from sites having PR more than your's is anytime better than others.
Try to get a link from .edu, .gov or .org website. I know its hard to get them but if you get it you'll just be able to see your PR shoot up. ATB.
