its just similar to social bookmarking. . . but some give much weigh in back links some gives good traffics but not permanent.

Some of the SB sites mentioned above are nofollow - eg from memory I think delicious and stumbleupon are. Before wasting time on SB sites, use the Firefox Nonofollow addon to see at a glance if the links are dofollow - I started using it a few weeks ago and wished I had done sooner: once installed, if you right click the mouse and select nonofollow, the nofollow links show up with a red background and dofollow show up with a blue background. It's great for blog commenting as well.

For creating content, use squidoo or - if you have the time to overcome the nofollow rules - Hubpages. For social news sites, try digg mixx or propeller. For social book marking sites try oyax or folkd. Fo fun - it's nofollow - try stumbleupon.
With any site, do't just spam them or you might get banned - contribute to the community.
I would suggest you to concentrate on few websites,rather than going with 300 or 500. Only submitting content to these sites is not going to get you anything. Your content should be noticed by all the big users.
