Pls chk this incident of Copyright Infringement ...

http://www.LogoDesignTeam.com has been copied into http://www.LogoHeros.com

Most part of the content even still reads "Logo Design Team" and the company name has NOT been replaced.

What am I supposed to do to ensure that the other website is removed immediately ??

I hope I will not be penalised for duplicate content. Pls advice.

Hi,

This Take Down notice seems to only apply to the US. I have a client in Australia who's site has been copied word for word, even used their header lgo and name and its registered in Thailand.

What can be done ?

Thanks.

You can contact the site owner and threaten him nicely. Tell him you'll sue him for stealing your content.

It has worked for me.

Oh, and be aggressive about it.

Google does have DMCA policies outside the US but unfortunately I can't find the information...

It looks similar but not the same.

If the copying was done verbatim, you'd have a better argument. My suggestion is to build better content and make your stuff stick out.

Thanks for your help, I dont suppose there is an international version of the sample take down letter around...?

Its actually a Joomla powered site so client can change text but yes its an exact copy! Everything, even the links page with around 100 banners, its bizzare, they have literally done a html save and re-uploaded.

Thanks.

It's a fairly similar design. However, the code is different. One website is using all tables and the other is using a mix of tables and <divs>
