you shud describe your need. Means for which purpose u nedd software. For keyword Research, For Search Engine Ranking, For backlink Analysis. Just tell your need & also tell you need paid one or Free one.

Yahoo Site explorer which is great for backlink checks. For keywords use the google adwords tool or goodkeywords.

The best seo software is my mind

anyways i normally use webposition gold for reporting and verious seo stuff.

Are you looking for something specific? I know DigitalPoint has a keyword/ranking tracker. That helps monitor your current sites. Aside from that, I don't know.

What are you looking for? What goals are you hoping to accomplish?

And Lpspider: DigitalPoint's keyword tool is only available to people who have a Google API key. Google stopped giving those out years ago. However, that said, Aaron Wall just came out with a really neat Rank Checker tool for Firefox that will monitor your rankings on Google, Yahoo, and/or Microsoft.

I haven't found anything worthwhile. What's really disappointing is that you try to similar keyword building softwares and each provides you with different results for the same search engine and same keyword/phrase.

You mean keyword research tools, like KeywordDiscovery or WordTracker?

The reason is because they have a different sampling of data. I believe one queries millions of users by ISP and the other only queries AOL members -- or something like that. But that isn't disappointing, really. That just means you need to consider all of these aspects in your keyword research strategy.
