which is the best solution for links? To buy them with only 1 way links or to trade them? And why?
Are blog links more powerful than normal sites?

Example:
I had a link exchange program and had about 500 links /month with any kind of website or PR...i had the link pages with nofollow and .htaccess restricted for robots
I've got PR3 for all my site pages--about 15...even for the portfolio ones

I've stopped that and bought some PR3-4 links
After 1 month google sent me to page 4 instead of page 2 for web 2.0 design keyword, and even took all my pr leaving me a PR2 for the homepage..

Strange right?

well free is better than buying.

Link trading is good than buying them.

But while link trading we need to take care with whom we are doing it. Also if your PR is decreased then it might be also because of the site with whom you have traded your links previously. If their PR is decreased then it will also effect your PR. So its very important that with whome you are actually doing link trading.

I would buy, trading may dilute your own PR, buying one way back links wont.

I prefer to trade links than buy them.. The only difference was in buying links there is a sure traffic from them though you will spend money for it, while in trade links you don't have to spend money just to get traffic from them but the only problem is, if they will approve your link..

so not "trading", more begging for links.

Nope, you can't be sure of paid links sending traffic, you have to track them to see which do.

I'd prefer link trading rather than buying the link. But if the pr is high and the traffic is good maybe I'd buy that link.

I don't thinks so. I believe it depends on the niche, pr juice and the traffic it drives.
