Hi All,

Thanks for coming in. I am new in this field and I want to optimize my blog <link removed> As far i understand i have applied all basic techniques for 'off site' seo. I am missing out on few on page techniques.

So, please suggest if there need any changes in metas of my blog.

Have you added relevant meta tags and heading in on-page optimization. Also check for keyword density. Off page optimization is more important. So do some efforts to collect more and more relevant back links from trusted websites.

First at all, you do need the unique quality content on your blog. Then you might use the social media such as friends network, article submission to promote your blog. Beside that, submit your blog to directory/search engine and looking for link exchange with quality site.

Of course, you shall also work on SERP an SEO to get better result

There are some blog submission sites,where you can submit your blog.It would help you in increasing traffic.

Directory submission is good on your PR if you do submit to quality directory. However, i do not get much help about traffic from directory

submit the URL of every blog post to social bookmarkings sites.. and or comment to other blogs with your signature your comments should make the blog owners and the readers see how "enlightened" you are on the subject matter you're posting your opinion on. If you post quality comments, there's a chance that they going to stumble upon your site with. good luck!

And of course, don't let a little thing like not knowing a **** thing about the subject stop you signature link spamming blogs and forums!

Just copy and paste something from somewhere that looks like they know what they are talking about.

I still believe in growing a blog slowly and more naturally rather than spamming social networks etc.

I just build up a good amount of quality posts, then let the search engines bring my traffic, naturally posts get stumbled and dugg then the growth is consistent and natural.

It is alright getting a big hit of traffic, but if they dont stick around it is not worthwhile.

Social Portals and marketing sites are good for blogs. Blog rolls, commenting on other related blogs and talking about your too, write a good article and publish in press release and directories, forums...etc

It is effective IF and ONLY IF you submit it to PROPER CATEGORY. Also, submit your posts to Propeller, Digg, Ka-Boom-It, Tagza, Folkd, and other story bookmarks.

I suggest you submit your blog to BLOG RUSH, BLOG TOP LIST, and BLOG TOP AREA (the first one help you drive traffics, the last 2 will help you monitor your standing against other blogs.)

Go search a directory of blog submission sites.. send articles too to social bookmarking sites.

Give people what they want and do it consistently, try and have quality content on a regular basis. Then post quality over quantity.
Commenting on related blogs is also a good way of promoting your blog, don't just post there, be friendly and comment.
