My first piece of advice would be to aim for a keyphrase rather than just one word!!!

My first advice to you is keyword diversity. For all practical purposes in your case, don't even try for fonts or any common fonts terms. Start with long-tail specifically like pages that contain "grunge fonts" "pixel fonts" at the very shortest as even they will be hard to rank for and go for keywords like "exact font name 01" and more descriptive keywords. Once you rank for them (on target pages) then work on getting your pages that are targeted for better phrases like "free fonts", and if you place well for them then consider a strategy to take "fonts" or "download fonts" or something.

I will look at your site more and give more advice when I get home. -John

There are lots of free tools in the web to help you search and decide which keywords can be used for your website. keywords are important but don't over do it. Keywords are one of the ways a user can find your website in SE's so work hard with them and be patient.

Content is King. Adding more content to your site will help. The "Font Tools" tab, for instance, is prime space. Instead of the one line descriptions of the tools, an entire article could be built around each tool. Reviews, who would benefit the most from each tool, etc.

"font" is a vague and popular keyword. Go with the long tail version as what have already been suggested.

Build more backlinks with your keywords as anchor texts - vary on the anchors so as to make it more natural in the eyes of the SE bots.

Put yourself in your website visitors shoes. What would you search for? Font, website fonts, etc..
