You can normally get them for exchange with you own blog links, but never for free therefore search for you that has similar traffic and not one far larger than you

Look for blog within your niche, try to comment on their blog... in your comment, ask them to link exchange with you. Leave an email add so they can contact you regarding the link exchange.

As long as you have good ideas for the blogs , linking site has no limit but be sure not to make some unnecessary things or links for your blogs or else you'll get kicked out. For example make an exchange link for your blogs.

Exactly. The bloggers who will give you a link just because you asked them to generally aren't the links that you should be after. The ones you want are from the A-listers in your niche. And they only give links to blogs that have something worthwhile to link to.

A lot of terrible advice in this thread!! If you want to get reported for spam, try all the replies above, that tell you to spam email people asking them for links. Of course, the people getting those emails can (and some will) report your email provider, and also report link spam requests to Google. I do this for every link begging email or PM I get.

Best idea for searching the blogs are blog directories or some blog submission sites, where you can find various blogs according to your theme also and then either leave comment on them or send them request for link exchange

Three main things to make sure that your Blog is having.
- Unique and Interesting contents
- Good look and feel or say visual layout of your Blog to attract more people
- You must be having your own domain on which u running ur blog.

If these three things are there then you have more chances to get Inbound Links from other Blogs or websites.
