A SEO company suggest a site called 3way links, yet I found out my Lingerie and adult toy site wouldn't qualify for such a program. They suggested an alternitive that would, and its called link market located at http://www.linkmarket.net/

So, before i do anything, i wanted to ask you if this type of system is ok to use. or one to stay far away from

My opinion is no... maybe a short term boost but that is about it.

Wow that was quick.... Thank you. The reason im asking is I just opened up a new site, which im trying to propel into the engines. Ive done what i believe is all i can do site wise, and was looking for something that could help further. So you think as a quick boost this would be ok to do? or is it more a danger than anything else.

What time frame is a good short term as you say if i do go that route.

Link building is an important part of building up a site. Are you doing any link work for your site now? Link building can be done semi-naturally without doing 3-way link exchanges and is important to getting your site to rank on your key words.

If I were you, I wouldn't trust link building to an automated system. If it is a simply a site where you can find listings and buy links then try it but if it automatically adds links to your site becareful. Too many links in a short period of time can hurt your rankings, I learned that the hard way.

My advice would be to get one way links from directories. Look for quality directories and add maybe a few links a day at the most.

Link building was useful, 5 YEARS ago. the world, (and search engine algos) has moved on since then.

I would have to disagree. Link building is still important. It has changed drastically in the last 5 years, but is still relevant. For instance directories are in no way as relevant as they once were, but targeted link work does boost your natural rankings.

Thank you all for your replies. So I think im hearing that this system may be a good one to use. I was told to use the 3 way linking system, yet my Adult toy store and lingerie store were to "adult" for there network...What a shame too, this world is much to stuffy on things in life. Im not porn, lingerie and adult toys..give me a break...... anyways,

Thats why someone suggested this other firm, doest nearly look as good, but i think im hearing here its a good system to use.

The one site I have is new, so im trying to get that going..... this is why i was looking for a boost.
