Hi all,

Anyone know the reality of search engine optimization, what we do is just a assumption, no one is certain that what would be the performance of a website after applying the certain things, some guys say something some give other tips, what i am looking in my clien projects that if our company doing the best then site is not performing and without hard work or say smart work it is performing better than other website google always mislead us about PR and backlink, their guideline suggest that PR is important and some where thaey stated that it is not necessary..

Overall seo is a field of confusion..

No SEO knows the result, but certainly gives the suggession.

Correct, performance is not guaranteed in the SEO arena because SE algorithms are proprietary to google/msn/yahoo and are held very close to their chest. It is a bit of a guessing game, but SEO experts are getting pretty darn good at guessing. There are a lot of standard optimization strategies that pretty much everyone agrees on nowadays.

It's a little bit like saying God didn't hand us a book telling how to split the atom, rebuild a failing heart, send man into orbit, or build an internet. We can't be 100 % certain we have the right explanation for gravity, radioactivity, and the like. But we can be 99.999999 % sure. Some of the people in SEO base their knowledge on the same process that helped us discover the rest of the mysteries in the universe.

Actually, Google engineer has released a lot of facts, such as the fact that linking does help your site's rankings. I personally know and other people know that linking to your site with a certain anchor text makes that site rise in the rankings. Realistically, we are 100% sure about that.

Ethical SEO is the reality of SEO. Search Engine optimization is the practice of relevancy if we are doing Black hat SEO it will tracked by search engines and chance will be for banned and loss of PR.

Are we though? Look at my little chart from "top 10 analysis thread". Why isn't #6 at #1? WAY more IBL than any of the others. I'm sure quality may have something to do with it, but still...

AND it's got a rockin PR!

SEO for any website is all about getting ranking in search engines result pages by targeted keywords/keyphrases.
