First of All "Hi" to everyone as I am new to webmaster-talk.com.

Since a couple of months I have observed that my site pdaking.com is placed on many pages, crawled in google but when I see the backlinks there is no backlinks at all. Can anyone help me why this happening. Should I wait for google updation?

hey are u sure what are u saying? If u are then i just wanna ask how do u check your backlinks.
If u check backlinks in google then forget it because google never show backlinks for a site.
And believe me different online tools wud show u different amount of backlinks. But i always go with yahoo & backlinkwatch.com to check my baclinks.
Yahoo showing ur site has 127 backlinks.
While backlink watch is showing 477 backlinks.

It is due to in yahoo i didn't see repeated backlinks. If u include them then amount wud go near about 480.

use this command to see your backlinks in yahoo : linkdomain:www.pdaking.com -site:www.pdaking.com

If you want to see your backlinks in Google then you have to wait for next google updation.

Google doesn't often update their backlinks compared to other SEs. The best thing to do is gather more quality and relevant backlinks to your site.

it really takes time to see if you have any backlinks coming from google. just continue promoting your site and eventually all your work will pay off.

Dont worry for backlink, google does not show the exact link, google manipulates it internally...

Hey,
The tool I use show me that you have:
1 Backlink from Google
6029 from Yahoo
55 from alexa and 1 from msn

which is kinda weird because Yahoo has indexed 8,222 pages and Google 20,400.

P.S: it also tells me that you are not registered as some important directories such as DMOZ (http://www.dmoz.org/add.html)

So, why would you expect some crappy "tool" to give different results than the site it's probably scraping the misinformation from?????

Google will only show you a very small number of links. They like to keep their info close to the vest.

Most of the time google didn't show all the backlinks of your site due to security purposes. And I think google only shows the quality back links of the website so maybe it means you don't have yet quality back link that's why google shows no results when you check your site's back links.

Maybe your optimization isn't enough. You must place lots of good backlinks, you should start by submitting article to directories. This should boost your rankings.

Also, you must be sure to optimize your article contents.

yep... Your backlinks should be shown in next Google update.
