Yep, the Google AdWords tool. Up until a few days ago it didn't show numbers, just the green bars.
Keyword Discovery (in your link) is a good tool. People are excited about Google showing numbers since in theory their numbers would be more accurate. Many keyword tools will try to predict how many times a phrase will be used at Google, but their numbers come from other sources You'd like to think Google could do a better since they're giving actual Google search data.

I always use at least 3 tools when it comes to calculate expected traffic because none of them provides me with the same results for the exact same phrase or word. I then do an average of the 3 and hope it's somehow accurate. I use a free version of wordtracker (http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/), google ad word traffic estimator and Seo Book Keyword Suggestion which analyze traffic per search engine. (http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-too...book/index.php)
again, I tend to "believe" google traffic estimator more but I like outside views too.
Personally I don't use keyword tools... How can you gain an advantage if everyone else is using the same tools? Doesn't everyone get the same answers?
That's true to a degree, but at the same time isn't it good to have that same information. It's better than having no information.
The numbers alone aren't the whole story. Two different people looking at the same set of numbers could come to two different conclusions about which are the best keywords to target. A lot of people do use not so common methods for collecting keyword information just to have different information. But even the same information is better than no information at all.
