Is there any free search engine submision websites??.Or is there any free link referral websites??.Please let me know??

Uh, Google has a web site where they let you submit your URL for free and then promptly ignore it.

Beyond the Big Three (Google, Yahoo, Live, in that order) it really isn't worthwhile trying to get into search engines. Each of those three have pages where you can submit your website, but like Learning Newbie said, it doesn't necessarily mean that anything will happen right away. Some people argue that you shouldn't bother submitting your site at all but to just let the search engines find you. I don't quite know how I feel about that yet, but if you do submit, once should be enough.

Yah there's a lot websites hanging around there offer a free submissions to different search engines and there's downloadable software as well.

it is quite possibl;e to get some links but to hangover in google ranking i think you need a plenty of them.... not make it too fast otherwise it might have a negative inpact also.

I think that it is not appropriate to submit your link to SE's, simply it does not help to increase your rankings!

There are some but from what I've seen, none good. They're either link farms or you end up getting spammy traffic. I'm talking about the free link or recip link sites.

Or do you mean a directory? See the Webmaster Talk submit directory forum for some more info and directories to check out.

You don't really need to submit your site to SEs.. Let the SEs find your site naturally...

you do NOT need to submit to search engines. once your site is complete, all you do is keep building backlinks which you will need to do anyways. search engines will find your site though the backlinks and index. its useless ans total waste of time to submit to search engines.

if you have a brand new site and need to get it indexed quick, then i suggest social bookmarking which can get your site indexed in as little as 10 minutes which submitting to search engines will never do

This is the type of analysis that's sorely lacking in SEO. What is the benefit of submitting (add my URL) to search engines? Nothing at all. What is the cost? Time. Time that could have been spent on something that actually does pay off.

This is where we part company. A no follow link won't get you indexed, and social media services are designed for purposes other than link dumps.

Worth mentioning. Some feel that submitting to the major search engines will actually hurt you. I don't know anyone that thinks it will actually help you. To me the conclusion is don't do it. Stick a link somewhere and they will find you.

On edit, if you dig into Google, you will find out that they tell you not to use automatic submission programs such as web position gold (might be that exact name, but similar). That should tell you something as well.

Why do u still guys wants to submit to SE's. Do build links that would do. Have interesting content and get links from niches. Search Engines will automatically come and index urs.

Spiders will crawl your site even if you will not submit your site to SE's. Try to submit your site to directory instead of submitting to se.
