because that's what happens. Sometimes it goes up, sometimes it goes down.
How about the important stuff of conversions and / or revenue.

Now we just wait for the inevitable "get more links" posts.

Dont worry its just normal. Even us experience that. Its due to sudden changes in SE datacenter. Just keep on link building so you are "STILL ON THE FLOW". Keep in mind: SE keeps on changing; if you will not go with the flow, (THRU LINK BUILDING CONTINUOUSLY), you'll be OUT soon.

Get more links....
Just kidding Chris...
Are you going down or are your competitor going up? That's something you should ask yourself. Keep on working on maintaining your position up there. You could keep on putting fresh relevant content on your website, building more links (sorry Chris), etc...
try to find new way of promoting your website.

Farris if you want advice specific to the site you're going to need to let us know what the site is. Is it one of the sites in your sig? And if so which one. If it's not could post a link to the site or just let us know how to get there?

This is what can happen when you put all your eggs in the Search Engine basket. I minor algorithm change can leave you hanging in the wind. Search engine changes can leave you constantly chasing.... like the dog who'll never catch the car.
Try to focus on organic traffic. Maybe spend some money on ads.

A few things I would like to point out:
- your domain expires in less than 3 months. Google thinks your website is not that important as it is going to be "dead" soon.
- Your website suffer from the common problem of having a www. and a non www. version, which is splitting the SEO efforts.
- When I tried to go on your website, I got a warning from Avast!: they found a malware and recommended me to abort the connection.
- your xhtml has 3216 errors: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht....mformusic.net
Hope this helps

Don't worry, most of them are minors. If you click on the link provided, you can run the test again and ask for suggestion on how to fix them.
