I would like to suggest that you might want to focus on search engine ranking rather than PR. High PR is nice but high rankings fatten the bottom kine.

Thats true, just because your PR is high doesn't mean your profits will follow. You must make the conversions happen. Pr does help when selling a website though.

To get high PR, gather more backlinks. Much better if you can get backlinks form high pr sites.
