"ripoff" ?
You have a program that creates reports that's named "ripoff" !?

That's got to be the funniest one of the week !
But, to your question, what are you talking about ?

We don't see your screen, we don't know which page you are talking about, so how could we help you ???

check with the lawyers in your signature, they probably have a colleague that handles such things.

Well, as I was not sure at first, but it now has been confirmed...
This is the most funny thread of the week (until the next one)

Ok, I just visited the site, and I understand the name better now.
But yeah, I think an attorney (especially if specialized in malpractice) should be able to handle it.

Simply put: you cannot.
It's out of your reach, except if you have an personal access to each data center of the major search engine, and that you can alter their records.

As for the reputation, it's a hard thing to acquire....
Maybe try to reach for the peoples that led bad report, and propose them to help them.
That you want to "make things right".

That's not something that will be easy nor come fast, and I don't judge you, but you cannot make everyone happy.
The key is to listen when someone has a problem with your activity, or the result of it, and to not let him tend to believe that you don't care.

I'd say even that they are your most important customers.
If someone comes to you complaining, he is offering you an opportunity to improve your business.
Think how much it would have been easy to simply walk away, and never look back. But no, he finds your service valuable, even if he's not happy of the outcome, and is telling you what his wrong in his opinion.
That don't mean that you have to change the way you work for him. Sometime a simple chat around the issue can resolve it. Misunderstanding happens.

Empathy is the most important key to trust. Have empathy for your customers, and they (not all, but most of them) will reward you with their trust and fidelity.

I have a server in a small datacenter, and it's costing me more than what I could find elsewhere, but each time I had a problem, even when the contract said "work hours mail support only", I get answers from my emails at 11pm.
And the problem is usually solved around 11:30 pm...

I more than happy to pay the double if I can get support that responsive...

It's pretty obvious why Ripoff Report might earn "authority" and respect among search engines. Since a SERP has 10 items and a domain can only show 2, you need 5 web sites that target all of your possible search terms, and you need all 5 of them to be more authoritative than Ripoff Report.

I think Tripy's advice isn't only better, but it's more likely to come to pass.
