TRY THIS LINK.

http://www.copyscape.com/?results.

It tracks back if the article you have has duplicate/s. It is very important especially if you use rewording in creating your articles.

Hey learning Newbie, I am afraid i dont really understand your comment. Copyscape requires you to point it to a page already. or are you suggesting that if you copy a page and put it on your own and modify it enough to see if it no longer shows up?

Is that really stealing? At that point, it has been modified a great deal and is almost a stupid way to get content when it would have taken less time to write it yourself

I agree it's a stupid way to get content, but is it a dumb way? And are those really different? I'd suggest they're duplicates from Google's perspective - if they told you something is stupid, they don't need to also tell you it's dumb. That makes their search results look bad.

But I think it's also immoral, in addition to being unhelpful to the person doing it. If Johnny can't write content except by starting with something somebody else wrote, then Johnny isn't really able to write content. Legally, it's a derivative work, at least according to the copyright hawks on this forum. For me, it's more of a moral than a legal issue, about respecting other people's work.

Maybe the OP wanted to point out this;
Quote:
Copyscape may offer copyright lawyer referrals to website owners who have experienced Internet copyright infringement. If a party has infringed your copyright online, you may require legal assistance and advice.

A qualified intellectual property lawyer may help you prosecute your legal claim against the infringer.
Copyscape and Indigo Stream Technologies, Ltd. are not affiliated with, nor do they endorse, any attorneys or lawyers linked from the Copyscape site.
or maybe not
