I have referral links like anyone else on my website.
I have heard that linking to large sites will negatively affect your pagerank, should I put nofollow on all my referral links?

I already use a referral masking plugin. That would be a lot of extra work is it really worth the gain?

Same here, I would say no because no follow doesn't affect your PR it is only meant for traffic...do link exchange to quality related sites, blog comments and post on forums that are do follow..
