Qassia seems to be a combination of a Social Bookmarking, Social Media, and Wiki kind of site. What you can do with other social media site like Squidoo, HubPages, or even Wiki sites like Wetpaint, you can pretty much do all here and then some.

You can create a profile with Qassia and add your URL which will give you a dofollow backlink. You can post your own content and every time you add some content (they call it intelligence), you get backlinks and credit. More credit you get, higher you rank for your site! You can get unlimited backlinks from Qassia.

So with these credits, will you get to backlink to more than one site per account? Also are these backlinks creditable with Google and Yahoo?

more credit you get, higher your site climbs within the network. regarding the backlinks, they are dofollow so they will be acknowledged by yahoo and google.

an interesting point of view. i understand there is "nofollow" and no such thinng called "dofollow" but in webmaster world, the term "dofollow" is used widely and is recognized to be a term for backlinks that are followed by SEs.

i never thought there would be any webmaster against the use of the term dofollow. if you prefer not to use the term, then so be it. however, what do you call a link that is NOT "nofollow" ? if there is any other term for it that is widely used by the webmaster community, i'm willing to learn

Aye we are unfortunately all too well aware of the "sheeple" (that's not a real word either, but it's not as misleading as "dofollow") aspect that is all too prevalent in the world of link begging.


Yep, there is a term for them. They are called "links".

According to me, Qassia has a conflict of interest, and shouldn't be the source of record about themselves. I'm not comparing your site to Enron, but, as an obvious example, anyone who relied on Enron to describe Enron, lost their house.

I'll answer your question with a question. What do you call a link that isn't nofollow, on a page in a folder that's hidden by robots.txt?
