How about a compromise? Pink knit cap SEO? Advantages:

More flexible
Biodegradable/environmentally friendly (if made of real wool)
More global in nature (uses word "cap" and "knit" which could be shortened to "nit" in sentences such as "don't be such a nitwit you stupid git")

After all, SEO is all about adjusting sites to fit the Google parameters and a knit cap is much more adjustable than a cap or a hat...
