We all know that with most websites 90% of their inbound links are pointing to the index page so this tends to be the page that has the highest PR.
Then if you visit the internal pages, usually down the left column (which is also one of the 1st lines of HTML inside the <body>) we have the same old stuff -
* Home
* Gallery
* Characters
* Downloads
* Avatars
* Banners
* Forums
* Guest Book
* Soundboards
* Puzzles
* FAQ
* Blogs
* Contact us
* Links
Now if i was anal about PR, which i aint, but if i was it would make sense to add a "nofollow" attribute to the following links
* Guest Book
* FAQ
* Contact us
* Links
Why? Because almost every site has got this section. If you wanted to focus where you direct your link juice this is the way you would go about it.
Also if every internal link that points to your Links page has a "nofollow" attribute, you wont lose PR from your links page and you can go and get all those recipricol links you have wanted but thought it might not be worth it.
