I've been doing SEO for my site and those 1-10 and 11-15 factors are definitely the main ingredients in optimizing a site. I do manual submissions in some free sites and I do exposure postings for my site, the process is slow but I managed to get into Google's top 100 and soon it will be on the top ten.

top 100 how did you do it and for what keyword. You must be a god. Link submission to useless directories that will olny get you short term gains and eventually you will lose it all when the search engines change there algorithm. Build links where people can see them and use them not on some random page in the depths of the internet no one will every use. Some of them are the factors some of them are not .

8. Lots of Relevant Inbound Links

6. Anchor Text Keyword Density

1. Document Title Tag (keyword Density )

9. Keyword density in your content

2. Description Meta Tag(has a little effect but is no super important)

4. Image Alt Tags (can help with image searches)

I don't know how i would rate these because you need each of them for the other one to work. If you don't have content links wont help you. They all are important in their own right.

I honestly can't believe your a moderator here with all the confusion you have of SEO. Would be nice to see a site you personally own that is ranking high in search engines especially google to backup your so called "SEO knowledge." Most of the stuff you said is wrong.

I would like to point out 3 important factors for SEO:
1. Unique, useful and updated content
2. Proper targeting of keywords
3. Relevancy of the backlinks

Top10 SEO factors:
1. Proper Title
2. Nice description
3. original content
4. keywords in urls
5. keywords in header tags
6. keywords in images alt tags
7. keywords in anchor text
8. relevant inbound links
9. keep the keyword density between 3 to 7%
10. Reduce the loading speed

Because I'm bored -

1. Ok
2. No - not relevant to "ranking" but may help in conversions
3. Meh, scrapers rank all the time
4. May be a minor factor
5. Header tags??
6. No - depricated long ago due to keyword stuffing
7. Ok - but could be argued that this isn't "seo" but rather marketing
8. Meh, links are links..
9. Care to provide a source that actually tested this?? No?? Didn't think so.. Urban ledgend..
10. I'm sure you mean 'increase' load speed or 'reduce' load "time" but not really an SEO factor anyway.

So how did you do?? I give 1/2 point for meh answers - gives you a 4 1/2 out of 10.. Fail..

And this is the type of answer you guys will parrot and mimic and continue to spout as truth because you "read" it from someone you know nothing about and he read it from someone he knows nothing about.. And you wonder why so many of you can't rank for squat..
