Can you help with this one?

I am about to optimise a website and have noticed that the inner pages of the site have a strange URL. The link is http://www.weathertightuk.com/Features.mvc (This isn't a link drop so sorry if have broken the rules, feel free to remove it). If the link is removed the URL ends .mvc can anyone shed any light on this and tell me if this would put off Search Bots?

thanks
Dan

if it sends out HTML it's of absolutely no consequence.

Just out of curiosity, why is the page not a normal extension like html php or something?

Not sure. I haven't built the site and just wanted to know about the extension. I've never seen it before.

Some CMS designers like to be different

the BBC site uses .stm for example.
