Duplicate article submission

I understand that submission of articles to article directories is an excellent way of creating backlinks, however on my site http://www.dogbarkings.com, i have written a number of articles on dog breeds. I have submitted each article to 5 of the best page ranked article directories i could find, however on further investigation I am now concerned i may be penalised for duplicate content. Is this the case or is it perfectly normal to do this. I am still in the process of adding content to my site and so donīt have time to write separate content for article directories and anyway if it is an article about dogs then i would prefer for it to be part of my site aswell. Will this cause any issues or am I going about submission in the correct way? Thanks for you help,

When you make an article and your going to keep it on your site try posting it to some sites like pixel2life not that site but a site like that, that links to your site

If your going to submit articles to site, don't post it to your site cause the content wont be unique. Get it?
if anymore questions just ask

Use jetspinner to come up with new versions of your articles...

After reading this am I correct in believing that submitting exact copies of my articles to article directories is fine, providing they include a link to my site, or even better a link to the original article. If this is the case why are they not showing as backlinks despite being added over 1 week ago?[/html]

They aren't showing up as links because they're identical duplicate copies, and therefore worthless to search engines.

So do they benefit my site in anyway, or should I focus on adding content to my own site then promoting through unique article submission, or if I was to change an article I had written for submission, how different would it have to be?

I think you should go on adding your site to article directories. Sometimes it takes time for your articles to be indexed.

Hello,Well What I have learned is that you can submit same articles to different directories..Just keep changing its TITLE and resource box..It will benefit you.

wouldn't really suggest using tools to re-phrase your article so it would look different to other sites. just do your own original article, its much better.

Unless those articles are sending you enough visitors to justify the time and effort it takes to write and distribute them, they aren't doing you any good.
