I know a fair bit about SEO and what's best to do and how to do it. But I'm not very tech savvy and don't have much of an idea of how subdomains actually work.
I run a poker forum and now want to start another site (which I have purchased the domain for). I want www.pokersite2.com to be a subdomain of www.pokersite1.com but also a site of its own. I therefore want subdomain.pokersite1.com to redirect to www.pokersite2.com and then have www.pokersite2.com in the browser (rather than subdomain.pokersite1.com).
Will this do anything for SEO and is this the right thing to be doing?
Should I have separate websites? or can I pass google juice from my well ranked pokersite1.com by using subdomains?
