How many different social booking sites could I post my site to on a daily basis before Google would consider it too be spamming or over optimization? And do HTML and BBCode make links truly appear more natural so that getting penalized for spamming is less likely?

spamming "social media" is NOT "optimising" for a start.
optimised means "the best it can be" so "over optimising" is impossible.

Google doesn't care how many sites you spam in a day

I'd suggest that you either go find another line of work if you think that spamming social media sites with your affiliate turnkey crap is the way to make money!!!

Thanks for your input "smart guy." I was asking because I didn't know and needed to get a better understanding. No need for the smart aleck response.

By the way....my "turkey crap" is doing just fine and making money.
