I thinks that English webs copy is goods when bad English web copies isn't used. If page she contains too much not well spoken English buyer they ain't convinced because if goods he come from dodge-merchant, refund ability, quality, and other vital triggers for purchase-decision they is not proper. Even price might not tell truth if language she no good.

Is it because I is taliban? Nope. It is coz I sound like what prince harry, but not have his racisms. Thus why I sells the goods to motherclickers.

Anybody is agreeing?

Bounce rate him good. Luckily my website contains handcuffs to keep customers there. Otherwise chewing gum on seat makes them stick around. I taunt them with sentences who have no pronouns and of wrong prepositions, sometimes to extraneous ones in. When customer is cry mercy I take their money and release them. Soon I buy football team.

Is this entire thread a joke about broken english sites that went a bit over my head?

I was trying to variate the anchor text for links to some of my sites, and after running out of good combinations of keywords I started throwing in the broken english ones... "Widget Informations" lol. :P

Sadly I think that not all the posts here have been made in the spirit of extracting the michael! But I think the clue about whether or not the post I made is supposed to be a "hilarious" joke ripping it out of the saturation of "web marketing" by people with unsuitable language skills lies in the phrase

"Is it because I is taliban?"

Surely people here are familiar with Ali G?

I remember that thread. Must have been what part-inspired the concept!

Our fearless leader, whom we will not name, is also devising some special means to stop people from leaving once they are on your website. Not by improving the user experience (that would be too much work), but rather, by freezing up the browser so that you have to stick around. That will definitely cause your rankings to go up.
Clearly influenced my whole handcuffs idea. And "stick around" was apparently transferred directlty word for word, using me as the vehicle of transportation of mirth. Although my idea of chewing gum was more surreal.

Of course, a well written English sentences are much easier to understand compare to those who write so badly in English.
