We are looking to get our site updated and have a SEO specialist do what is necessary to get us higher rankings. Please advise if anyone know of reputable company that perform this type of service. We would like them to review our site and advise what changes are needed.

not really sure, that is why I why asking for a SEO specialist. We want to achieve page one rankings.

This aught to generate a lot of posts saying "I can do that for you!"..

First, you haven't given much information to go on for anyone to say that they can do that for you.. Page one may not be possible for what you want to target.. Or it could be incredibly easy..

Second, before you hire someone that says that they will rank you on page one for your keywords, it might be a good idea to see if they volunteer to do the research necessary to make sure that the words you think you want to rank for are actually worth ranking for.. You would be surprised how many people have no clue how to do proper keyword research..

Third, you will want someone that will put together a plan to achieve your goal.. Many, if not most, will simply tell you that they are working on getting you ranked and then start taking your money without bothering to tell you anything at all about exactly how they plan to make that happen.. Usually what happens in those cases is that they try, fail, then come to the forums and ask for help from many of us here or on other forums..

Forth, remember that there will always be someone willing to do it "cheaper".. If their biggest selling point is that they are cheap, then you may want to reconsider them.. How often is the cheapest thing really the best value??

Excellent advice.

There are many who say they can do, bit not so many than actually do.

Ask for previous success stories from the companies concerned.
If the best they can come up with is number 2 for the term "Pink elephants that fly across the atlantic on a 747" you know they are lacking experience.

If they can prove some history in hard to get sectors, such as finance, then you are likely to have a relutable firm.

ok, if you go to company all resources you need are there, but I really suggest to go for forums and do the SEO yourself to save money.

Just a warning, there are so many so called "seo experts" out there that offers services that really doesn't know what they are doing. It's really hard to trust and pay for seo services. Good luck on your search.

Just a quick question, have you sorted your seo, also has anyone asked you what are your proposed keywords. also who is your competition and how are they ranking.
