If your site has backlink from high PR site than you get fast and better result. This backlink shows that when google crawl for any key words it searches which site is more available with particular key word. As per the backlink result it shows the result in the Search engine position. Just try to get some quality backlink for your site and you will get good search engine position.

Google is indexing any website by it's backlinks.if your website has large number of backlinks then your website will get good pr.your site can also get traffic by backlinks.

while making your backlink strategy, don't just go for high PR pages.

You know if you can get backlink from inner pages of High PR domain, that also counts and is very important..

Backlinks are vey important factor in SEO.

For getting backlinks you need to do following exercises :

1. Directory Submission.

2. Submit article in article submission sites, like

3. Submit Press Releases: Write press releases about your site and submit them to press release distribution services. Here are few sites which you may find good enough

4. Social Networking / Social Group Sites: These are very good sources for getting backlinks and huge traffic also.

5. Participate in link programs also.

hey all,

I'm looking to improve our search engine rankings and have done the meta tags, submitted us to every possible related directory I could find and over the past few months it seems to have paid off and i've moved to page 1 on my main keywords however our PR is still quite lot.

Checking most other competitor sites in our industry they have a higher PR rank and a lot more bank links but a lot of the bank links they have are on dodgy link farms and not actual sites with any good content.

I've decided my next stage is to work on bank links so i joined text links ads and they sent me a list of low quality american websites when i'm UK based and need UK traffic.

I have two questions...

Will having a link on a $2 a week american website do anything for my search engine rankings or will it do harm?

Should I focus on a small number of high quality sites or will i see benefit from going as many possible sites as I can related to my industry?

If it's not related to my industry for example If i put my link in this post would that see any benefit what so ever?
