Hi

I have a website called leisurewalker. I have already submitted it to google, msn and yahoo around 5 months ago. However, when I type in the name of the website, any of the search engines do not list my site. The site url is http://www.leisurewalker.com
I just need the website to be listed when I type in the word - leisurewalker ( excluding http and .com ).

No you don't. You want your site to be found for phrases that people are actually searching for. Nobody is searching for "leisurewalker".

You should do some research to find out what people are searching for when they need to go to a site like yours.

friend it is possible.that you have copy content.If that is true then google sent the site in samp.

Yeah. but you go to any search engine and type the name of a company for example, lets say Mc donald..or wikipedia etc and their company website would get listed because the name typed is similar to their domain name. The name leisurewalker is unique that there are no competing names on the web. So in theory, it should be ranked first. ??

Might have worked like that 5 - 6 years ago but not any more.

SEs have become much much smarter than that. Unless your search pattern is enclosed in quotes ("leisurewalker") they can/will parse out the concatenated words and return results based on that search pattern (leisure walker) instead.

Maybe when your website is a few years old (if it lasts that long) and is as well branded and searched for as McDonalds or Wikipedia (yeah right!) it might happen.

Even if there is no competition with your particular domain name format, it doesn't mean you have the instant privilege to rank on that particular phrase. It is not how it works. Update your site. Make it more visible to SEs. Work on it.

It would be wise idea to look for and target other keywords, other than "leisurewalker." Make some research.

You have to promote your website and create some backlink with the anchor text of "leisurewalker". I hope you will find your wbsite very soon in google.

then you want to do a small amount of seo for your site, because your keyword is not competative.

One thing you can do is go to google and type in the following:

site:domainname.com

And this will come up and show you if your site has been indexed and if any of your pages are in googles cache.

Also, make sure that you don't have a noindex in your header, because if you do then this will not allow bots to crawl your site.

But as far as being #1 for "leisure walker" just because of the domain name, forget it. If this were the case, domain names would get even more rediculous and long using competitive keywords.
