What are your views on the most important thing in SEO for new websites.

How can I improve my new site. Can you please advise me what to do to get better ranks to my site.

I believe that Site Analysis and Keyword Research is one of the most important thing to consider specially if you are starting to optimize a new website. Analyze the whole site, competitors, the keywords you will be using, over all site navigation and usability.

^ I agree with zeruel. Before you proceed to offpage optimization, you need to make some research. Carefully choose your keywords and analyze your competitors. The metatags and content of your site also need to be seo-friendly and relevant.

I am agree with swity. Design and content is the main point for new websites.
Then proper keyword optimization and competitor analysis are necessary for new web sites.

The most important thing to be concentrated in SEO for a new website is its title tag. It is preferable always to have a less than 68 characters long title. One thing should not forget that this figure includes spaces also. Another aspect is meta description. The meta key words must be oriented towards the content of the page chosen. Title should be doped with most important keywords that is pointing with respect to the content for that page chosen.

keyword is main base for seo so, you have to make unique content and meta tags and you have to also directory submission, submit articles in good sites. for getting best result do link exchange with good sites also.

in my view, i think for most important thing for the new site is code structure, you have to have got good heading structure and good code structure.

I didn't really start out with that much keyword research, I guess you could say the research I did was minimal. But reading through this discussion, I think it's about time that I go back and do some more extensive research. I think part of the problem was that I didn't know what I wanted my business to be about then, but now I have a better idea.

I would say is your on-site optimization, if that is perfect when you start geeting links it will work its way up.
