Well my thinking is that since having actual keywords in your domain is weighted heavier than simple content keywords, that this could have an advantage in that respect. For example designer-jeans.com is going to automatically be weighted higher than some website called mikesstore.com that has "designer jeans" somewhere on the page.. That's why you see so many domains that say things like buy-prescription-pills-online.com and stuff like that. So by having a bunch of specific keyworded subdomains, would that not also work much the same way? So a website could go designer-jeans.mikesstore.com.
But in my case I'm taking it a step further and having it resolve to a page that is a search result of that exact term, so when the search engine crawls it, it'll see it like relevant content.
I'm far from an SEO expert, and I'm more looking for opinions from other people than to try and educate anyone else, because I'm not even sure about what I'm talking about.
