Hi,

I have a graphic resources site that is 2 years old and I got around 2000 visits per day (graphicmania (dot) net). Most of them comes from google and google images

I see other sites like mine such as (smashingapps (dot) com) and ( psdtuts (dot) com) gets thousand of traffic a day than mine.

Can any one help me finding why my site gets this low traffic alothough I did all the SEO tips and guides.

You can do Directory submmision and social bookmark for your site. i hope you will get more traffic.

Thanks alot, but actually I did all the SEO tips and tricks I read about in every article, but no thing happened, visits increase slowly by the time when these sites increase very rapidly.

What do you advice?

Are you targeting the right keywords? What keyword research did you do?

It is not that hard to see which keywords he is targeting just by looking at his website. This is part of his problem, he is targeting keywords that are all very competitive. He should do more research to target 2-3 word keywords instead.

2000 visits a day is not bad after 2 years though. So you shouldn't say that seo is not working for you. It sounds like you are too worried about matching the traffic of your competitors. Worry more about your own site. Build up traffic gradually and try to make the most money from that traffic. Perhaps those other sites just have superior content or better keyword selection.

Just because you tried every seo trick, it does not mean they do not work. They obviously worked well enough to get 2000 visitors a day. With seo you have to be both persistent and patient. So keep up with those strategies and your traffic should keep growing.

2000 visitors per day isn't bad at all. What keywords are you targeting? That's a VERY big factor on the amount of traffic you're getting. You said you've been doing a lot of SEO tactics for your site, just keep on doing it. It's all about patience and hardwork.
