I have a question do u guys think certification in Seo can help in getting you some good work as a freelancer.
If yes can u please direct me to some good website

I have never heard of any kind of certification in SEO work. I will be interested in seeing other responses here. I know in my marketing classes in school SEO was covered greatly.

Most people will be more interested that you can get them results than whether or not you have certification. However some people may think the certification gives you authority and be more likely to contact you. Of course if you can't then deliver the certificate becomes irrelevant again.

Should you get one? Up to you. If you think you'll learn something and it won't cost much to get I don't see the harm. I wouldn't think it's going to make a big difference to growing an SEO business. Most SEOs aren't displaying certificates which should give you an idea about how useful they are or aren't.

Signing up to freelancing sites like odesk, guru and elance can give you that certification if you passed their tests.

Your certification is only applicable in that particular site. If you are certified at one, you need to take test on the other sites in order to have a certification in there too.

I have webceo certification but porfolio is still most important to get a freelance work.

How I wish there is an SEO Certification Committee! Just like those who want to be certified as Auto CADDers.

Certification is no needed in seo field.
