Hello,
I have learned from this forum and can summarize that the modern way to get more hits and indexed quicklier is to write fresh articles on your blog and submit them to social bookmarking sites.
I tried them for a month but I do not see many hits from my CP stats.
I agreed that my sites got closer for some keywords when searching them on Google. But Yahoo, it is too hard and have not changed.
Any idea is appreciated.

Optimization for Google is quite easy but Yahoo uses different algorithm and not much information is available over the internet on Yahoo optimization.

Perhaps it has something to do with the blog. A little market research might be in order.

Try recruiting folks to give feedback on the posts.
Ask how a post could be improved?
Would they want to read other posts based the the one they read?
Would the want to return to the site?
Is it interesting enough to subscribe to the feed?

For all of the "no"'s try to discover "why". Use the feedback to improve the quality of your blog posts.

One service I've found useful for this is Amazon's Mechanical Turk. Sometimes I'll pay 20 people a buck to give feedback.

Lastly, try to have a thick skin. Some people will tear a post apart and give harsh criticism. Don't take it personally, just use the information to improve.
