Hi all

How to avoid indexing of forum pages?

Is this possible and how can i do this?
If i disallow the forum pages, will the search engines continue to index the threads?

I'm interested in it too, what forum system do you use?

Because I need to make that phpbb forum user pages would be visible for search engines (because now user page page can be viewed just after login, so search robot don't see them)

It is already two questions, please share your thoughts

I think to avoid indexing your forum pages you should give disallow:"particular forum thread URL" in your robots.txt file. (Example disallow: /www.webmaster-talk.com/seo-talk-forum/177567-how-to-avoid-indexing-forum-pages.html )
