When the competition is so hard I´m thinking that I should be better of if I just got an extra income of som kind and put the money in google adwords instead! Then I could spend some time with my familly and spend some time sleeping also!

I have a site with 124 pages. If I´m going trough them all and optimize them with meta that and that, my hair will turn grey before sunrise. (www.webbmax.se) It´s in swedish so you wont understand a word of it!

There! I´m finished complaining - BACK TO WORK!

onpage optimization is only a fourth of the battle. you need to build backlinks as well! Instead, you should outsource your SEO if you think you can make some money off your page.

At least with meta tags you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, whereas link-building battles go on and on forever, escalating over time as well. If you do not feel up to going through this kind of hell, you could hand it over to someone - provided you have some budget available of course. If that's not the case - well, the satisfaction is to be derived out of the sheer excitement of seeing traffic (read: sales) increase

I think you're just looking at it wrong. I find SEO to be a very challenging and rewarding job, both OnPage and OffPage... I love tweaking things on page and seeing the results... maybe that's just me though. 124 pages? Bring it on

Very good point, usually neglected. Your time is worth something. You could put a monetary value on it and weigh that against the revenue your site generates (most would realise they're running at a loss), or you could think about other things you could be doing, like family stuff, as you said Aixenpro. Is it worth it?

I think in a lot of cases PPC would work out cheaper if you work out how much you are investing in time and pay yourself a reasonable salary for it.

Because top ranking positions for prime keyword phrases can be lucrative, as long as your site can convert rather than bounce..,and when a new site pops in G organics, it's a rush..that's why

yes, seo let me lost many and get many. I always take attention at my ranking in google and have no time do other thing.

SEO is the process of increasing the website’s visibility in search engines. I agree that seo the most time consuming and frustrating process still it is the most important. Without optimizing, a website will only get visitors either from referrals or direct access.

SEO is the key to success in the internet world, on an average 70% of web site traffic comes from the search engines so no one can actually avoid it. If you think that it is difficult for you to do all the stuff, the best will be outsourcing it.

PPC will only give you temporary traffic till the times you are willing invest money in it but for long run you will require the search engine optimization.

try on.. the website is not that big that the 124 pages site could not be optimized..

SEO is tough it is not easy.you need to work hard. you need to search other techniques for seo to get backlinks.

.. maybe he is lazy to do his job... or maybe he's really tired of doing his job. But come to think of it. On our job we are not competing to other sites but we are challenging ourselves to reach our goal.

Or maybe it's just not worth it. You need to consider what the returns are, not just pour more and more hours mindlessly into a project. So what if you rank #1 for some phrase? What does that ranking bring you? If it's money, is it enough to justify all that work?

Yes I agree this point. If you do link building work for a website, you will feel better result of back links and search engine rankings.

Both On-Page and Off-Page Optimization should go together!.. You'll get better results if your doing both!..

In Onpage optimization yeah that's is quite a struggle at first but when you start offpage optimizing It's challenging and fun!! And when the ranking kicks-in that's when the money would start coming In aswell ...So keep it up!
