I have had this site, http://flowermound.net for over 8 years now. When Google started its pagerank system, my site could no longer be found without specificly looking for the domain name. I have worked real hard with the SEO before and even after this happened to at least show up on the first 3 pages at least, but no luck. I just checked my page rank today using http://checkpagerank.net/index.php?n...nd.net&links=1 and not only was I suprised by the increased, but the part where it shows " Pagerank seems to be forged!" I thought that this may be because the yahoo site search shows only 3 inlinks, when in reality, if you take away the "www." there are a lot more. What bothers me is the fact that for the "www" I have 2,524,421 pages and only 3 inlinks and without the www, I have 2,481,665 pages and 49 inlinks.
I know something is seriously wrong with yahoos site explorer, because another site of mine http://redmustangs.com (forwards to http://red-mustangs.com, which also has a PR0 shows up as having NO links on checkpagerank.net, but actually has 3,231 pages and 113 inlinks (inlinks are mostly from forum signatures)
Basically I know these numbers are wrong. Im not sure whats happening. I dont know if my PR1 is legit, and I am also worried that Google may penalize me. While that would just mean Im back to PR0, if I deserve a PR1, I believe I should get it, plus I worry that the domain will forever be cursed as a zero, no matter how sucessful it is.
