I believe there are really websites that comes similar to this kind of thing. You can't really control the people who are linking to your article, so having your site's subpages happening to have better PR than homepage, don't get really surprised. Because people will link, link and link and the next day, booom! They have better PR than the index page.

If you want your inner pages with good pagerank means you should have more backlinks for that page.More backlinks will gain more page rank.

You must be reading a different set of posts as I don't recall critising any ones site. I was commenting on the useless (mis)information published on the article you "found"

Although you have answered my question about this thread being merely a vehicle for a spam link drop!

If inner pages are linked with home page then they will get PR because PR of your home page will be distributed amongst the inner pages.

Its quite possible! This is because Google ranks individual pages not the whole website in its Page Rank Logarithm. So, its quite natural that your home page is Page Rank 0 and Inner page is Page Rank 1.

Yes PR is considered for every webpage and you need to get links for every webpage if you need them to have higher PR.

I dont think so because in most of sites important links are linked at menu bar or homepage with keyword.

For example you can see many directories too. You can see that home page PR is 4 but inner pages show PR0.

PR is completely related to backlinks and you need backlinks for your inner pages if you want to get PR for your inner pages.

Thanks

Not necessarily. People link to sub pages as well as homepages. But then you're probably thinking about actively going out and getting links as opposed to passively receiving links because your content is so good. Getting links to subpages is probably harder.

Write really good material of course! If you want to be successful at something you have to be good at it. If your craft involves writing (and it probably does if you're a web publisher) then you'd better be good at writing. If your craft involves writing about subject X then in addition to being a good writer, you'd better be knowledgeable about subject X. If you want to have a more sucessful site about subject X than someone else, then a good start is to write better and have a more in depth knowledge about subject X than that somebody. What promotion comes after that is secondary.
