Hey,

I have submitted articles to some PR4+ directories and my articles are published there and those are live, but those are not cached by google so far. Those are live for about 3-4 weeks, Earlier, as soon as my articles are published, those have got cached by google within 5-6 days. I just wonder whether google started to ignore aritlce submissions methods??

There is no such thing as a PR4 directory. The home page may be PR4 (at least on the toolbar, anyway) but the page that your near worthless link is on isn't.

They filter out duplicate content (which is what most article submission is). Could that explain it?

Once I submit an article I bookmark it a few times. So far, they have been cached by G.

i have used ezine articles. it's working and i got many backlinks

I still get traffic from article submission, but I kinda notice that it's no longer a good source of backlinks. I rarely get BLs from article directories these days.

I just publish them to my own site, I usually see Google traffic within an hour. Backlinks happen progressively (because of rss subscribers).

Seriously, why would I want to let some "article" site earn ad revenue when I do all of the work writing the article?

same problem with emofree... it takes a while to publish some articles on some sites.. i check it once a month and have to resubmit the articles!

Just keep on submitting those articles and you can have ranks in a short period. After it ranked, it will be there most of the time and you can have constant traffic using it.

article submission and press release submission with proper keyword density surely cached by Google and doing bookmarking generates targeted audience to your link many times.......

I feel like there is so many articles out there that yours get lost in the blue and the backlink is not worth a lot for the work you spend writing the article. However, when done in large quantity and with good content optimization for your keywords you will totally see them boosting your rankings.
