I am creating a few blogs, a few Squidoo lenses, a Weebly website etc all with backlinks back to my own site and to those of my customers.

Should I interlink my Squidoo lenses with my Weebly site with my blogs? Should I use the same social bookmarking sites and accounts to bookmark my site and the squidoo/weebly/blogs?

Advantage = it might increase the link juice that each site has available to pass on to my home site.

Disadvantage = if Google realises that all the links (squidoo, blog and weebly) are by the same person, it might devalue these links.

Is there a prevailing SEO wisdom on this? Does anyone have any views?

Just make links that are useful for people and your Google juice will take care of itself.

If your thinking about organic - forget about Squidoo - it is a "NoFollow" site. I don't touch it. After it turned NoFollow - a lot of ppl aren't interested in it anymore.

Google will not know if the accounts are owned by one person. Even if they know, they wouldn't care anyway. So you are on the right track in there. You can easily interlink your squidoo lenses to one another by lensrolling it.

If you have accounts on other web2.0 sites like you said at weebly, it is still a good move to link it to your main site. This is what search engine bots like, to crawl indefinitely and yo can have a great ranking in the future for your lenses and other pages.

Using the same bookmarking accounts on all your bookmarks is fine, I have done that many times with no problems at all.

You should also start submitting articles to ezinearticles.com and other directories for your article to have a big exposure.

I've heard this before but - according to Firefox nofollow tool, my lenses are still dofollow.

I suppose this was my question - if I interlink my squidoo lenses, weebly site, blogs and articles will this tell Google that they are all by the same person (so my links get devalued) or will it pass more link juice to my main site by increasing the link juice each has to pass?

The only people who are no longer interested are the folks who misused it.

You can do interlinking with squidoo, weebly site and blogs. It will help you to get back link but avoid squidoo lense because It's nofollow and don't count nofollow in back links

Personally, I'd interlink them if there is an advantage in it for my users rather than just the link juice. In fact I'd put "nofollow" on those links and remove that disadvantage altogether. If it's nofollow Google can't devalue them but they're there for my users anyway. But that's just me.

You can link squidoo pages to your site, as long as you don't over link them all. Just keep it clean, and you'll be safe.

People keep saying Squidoo is nofollow but check out lenses with the Firefox nonofollow tool - they all come up a nice, clean "dofollow" blue background!!!! Or have they made pages nofollow with a robots.txt file or something that this tool doesn't show??
