Hello All,

Well I am facing some problem in my site since last 2-3 Months before that I was on good rank and getting a good amount of traffic. My niche is Web development

But since 2 months traffic is going down and down. I do not know what is going wrong with my site as such I have done some changes in Meta tags and I do article submission, directory submission, Social Bookmarking of website with that just started some Press release submission too

But I am not getting good traffic and Inquiries from Last Two months what should I do to Improve my SEO performance?

Help me guys please

The first thing you need to do is figure out what traffic has gone down. Is it traffic via search, links or social bookmarking etc. It might have nothing to do with SEO if your search traffic is unchanged.

Web development keywords is very competitive keywords that's why it's really hard to rank in two months work. Just be patient in getting quality links.

Have any of your links been deleted?

Also, the competition might be stronger than you can take at the moment.

you can use google anylytics and web optimizer to find out your site site status and further hints on optimizing for search engine..

Web development is the most competitive keywords and the search volume is increasing day by day. It would be better if you can target on related keywords and do some more SEO.

Right, fluctuations happen, particularly with keywords that draw in huge numbers of competitors. Maybe get more location specific? Service specific? Provide a link and I'm sure one of us can help.

I agree we would need to see the site itself, maybe gooogle decided your site was not on topic compared to the keywords you were ranking for.

Keyword too broad? They were not, and then suddenly they became too broad and outright irrelevant? Sorry, that doesn't make sense.

Try to emphasis on SERP and forget PR's as for now. Try to build links and submit your links mostly in forums, without spamming them and also use Yahoo answers. THis is the best for getting traffic.

Ya its' true. Your targeted keyword is very competitive word. You'll work hard to do SEO.

I agree,

Position in SER and traffics is main things of any websites. PR is just to show your rank in google. I saw many time that PR is very good but traffics rate is very low then what is benefits of PR if you dont want to sell your websites?

The Metatags are the most important thing to get the site listed in the top in earch engines.Changing the meta tag often will not get your site in the stable position.So, to get listed in the top first target your meta keywords first and then start doing the off-page optimization regularly and effectively.
