Well, there is no magic formula. You need to follow some basic steps.

If you target SEO then add optimized pages and get backlinks.
If you target paid traffic then these days you still need content

So take action and you will see results. As I said there is no magic formula.

You just simply need to promote your site. And you could do this in a lot of ways, one is through social networking sites. Add as much many friends there and try to socialize to earn more interest from others.

Optimising is as the word suggests - making it the best it can be.

In other words - improving the sites performance in conversions

otherwise the promotion and marketing is wasted if visitors arrive and leave just as quickly.

I find forums to be a great way to get traffic. If your posts are helpful you can build up a good reputation and people will always be interested in your website.
