Today, I have just checked my site's page rank and it has drop from PR3 to PR1. I checked it before three days it was PR 3.

I am Shocked to see that but the good things is that site is still ranking in Google top 10 for targeted keywords.

I didn't get it. What happened ? Any thoughts ?

Please don't tell me that i have Duplicate content or back removed because i have checked both and everything is ok.

I also have been noticing back link increase & decrease in "Google Back Link Query" for the last one and half month.

What all you say about this?

Hey same thing happen with my 2 site also and my site PR is decrease 3- 0.
I was just shock form that.

i think there is no relation between pr and google indexing.if you have enough backlinks then you can get indexed easily.pr lost because you are not getting enough backlinks from high pr sites.

With these questions, you revoke the right to use "SEO" in your username.

toolbar PR has nothing to do with ranking
real PR is just one ingredient in the mix for ranking. Therefore, your PR could go up/down/sideways and you might see no change in rankings and traffic
If your question is, "why did my PR go down?", then the answer is that it's based on how much PR is passed by your inbound links. Either the number of inbound links changed, or the amount of PR they passed changed, or the highest PR page - ever - got even more PR, causing ever other page to get recalibrated.

If your site ranks well on a certain keyword, you can still get it to stick in there no matter what your site's page rank is. If it drops, don't worry it happens all the time. Continue to add lots of articles and you can still rank for other keywords.

PR reduce bcz of many reason.. may be ur BL gone and also linked site degraded... But always keep some good PR is better. If need any SEo like lin kbuilding do it well

PR has no direct effect on ranking. These two are totally different things. You can still get a good ranking even if your site is zero PR.
