Yahoo Site Explorer is not bad but
could be better.

Ideally I want to find something that shows the incoming
links AND their PRank.

Since Google doesnt seem to link backlink checking
that might not be possible.

A good tool for finding the age of backlinks.

read your site logs to see which ones send REAL visitors and when they first started ending traffic. THEY are the useful links, and the only ones you need to care about.

I use backlinkwatch free tool but it wont display the PR. Then I purchased a checker from link assistant. it's a nice software. It gives you many details about the backlink generated.

I use this great tool as well. the result is more than from yahoo site explorer

Why are you going for all third party tools?

To check the back link count log on to your google webmaster tools and check the inbound links.

Why even bother on focusing on your pr. I think focusing on promoting your site instead is better than wasting your time for that.
