Do you link exchange with other sites?
I read some articles on this topic,and found link exchange is a good way to improve page rank.

No I don't agree with link exchange. The exchanges link's value is reduced by google. So by calculating the time and energy spend for a link exchange with the return value reciprocal linking has no value. If you are going for three way linking it is still working.

OP - There are too many messages you are trying to communicate, I'm confused. Do you want to talk about the ups and downs of reciprocal linking (which you don't), do you want me to click on the article link (which I won't), or perhaps you would like to do an exchange (huh)? I'm afraid that's too much to ask for.

I feel It depends On The Traffic The Other Site gets,
I Normally dont go For link exchanges If the Other sites Niche Is not Good and also see its traffic

IMO, Link exchange with your related site that has a good PR can give you a good traffic.

Yes Link Exchange is useful and works only if you exchange links with relevant websites with High Page Rank. Otherwise nowadays link exchanges are not in much demand.

Seo basics start from link exchange and than the growth starts .
so just go through link exchange than you abel to intract daily with new webmaster.
they will guide you and even give you good links.

The very best link is a one-way text link, from a site with similar content , who has no other outgoing links. This is the holy grail and almost impossible to find and secure.

Reciprical links may equal each other out. Not so great for SEO but dont be put off... its better than nothing and they might bring you traffic anyway, which is the whole darn point of this , so ignore stuff about avoiding them at all costs (the exception here is if its from a directory or obvious link farm/bad neighborhhood)

Ok I agree but by reciprocal links can get good links.. may be from home page... if can do exchange with high PR site like pr5+ , how can say its less value...

i believe in link exchange but it should be natural.

for me one-way links or 3-way links are on the top. Next it comes reciprocal links.
Links plays a very important role to provide stability to your site ranking for the keywords you want to get the top spot over major engines.

Beware of paid links Google hates paid links.

I don't understand link exchanges. Its like a give and take system. Since Google does not really approve of Sale of links really, then in my view , Link exchanges should also be of no value as its totally artificial linking.
I might be wrong. If I am, please correct me.

The most important thing is that links you get are related, quality inbound links definitely will help to get higher SERP. A link is a link either its one way link, reciprocal link as long as it is a good related inbound link, it will help your rankings.

Though one way links is much preferred because your websites will not share the link juice with other website and building too many reciprocal links or three way links may end up having too much outbound links .

Link exchange can also be looked down upon by google. You should do some more research on it.
