The title above is actually a song by AC/DC. I guess this could be an example of link bait.

If you want direct, quick traffic (it won't be targeted) - but if you are a great writer and can write interesting things on a blog - write some shocking things (make sure they are true and do not defame anyone). It really does work.

Once you write your article - Leave links on Social BM sites and write articles about it and submit it to EZineArticles and GoArticles. Don't forget about FB and Twitter, another great way to get the word out about your link bait.

Yeah, writing shocking or argument prone content may cause people to link to your article in their posts or something. From what I've read elsewhere.

Even if you just apply this in the title, you can really have a good amount of traffic just by letting people see you shocking title.

Haha you got me there on the title Mark. There's no way I could resist to check on what's the thread about with that title. Nice tips on shocking articles..
