Hi friends,

I need to know the updated news happening in google, yahoo and SEO world. Only if we are updated we can improve the websites.

What's the best way to know latest happenings in SEO. I know participating in forums is one of the way, but i like to know any other ways are there. If any one reads blogs, plz mention the name of the blogs or websites.

I read a few blogs, my favourite being SEOmoz.org.

Best thing to do, create an account at Google and set up a Google Alert for SEO and so forth.

always read google analytics blog and
google webmaster blog
both will keep you updated

Visit webmaster forum like webmaster-talk, digital point, seo chat, web pro world etc.

Participate, read, ask at different SEO / Webmaster's forum; also, subscribe to RSS feed of different SEO blog (SiteProNews is my fav.).

The best place to go is probably Sphinn.com, which is the equivalent of a Digg for the SEO industry. You'll find most of the important developments there and quite a few good discussions as well.

Become the member of SEO forums and communities. Many forums publish their periodic newsletters.

You can join some seo blogs or websites to get all latest seo news in your RSS reader or can create alerts in Google news with the keywords of your choice and have latest news of your choice directly coming to your mailbox

For google, checkout their official blog and get subscribe to it. Also there are lot of websites like problogger, seo watch, seomoz etc.,

INstall iGoogle on your browser and place the feeds of all your favorite SEO sites and you can see ti eveyrytime you open the browser.

Also, going to forums like this can give you fresh information.
